The Impact of Vocabulary Acquisition in the Mathematics Classroom
Mathematicians have come to the realization that there cannot be a separation of the math symbol from the language of mathematics. Through discussion and hands-on activities, participants will examine vocabulary as a building block of the math program, in terms of its "value", "variety" and "volume".
